The Center also offers comprehensive care for a broad range of medical conditions through specialized programs, including the Fertility Center, Weight Management Program (which includes bariatric surgery), Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, Robotic Surgery Center, Cochlear Implant Center, Sleep Disorders Center, and the Dysautonomia Center, among others. Additional programs address maternal-fetal medicine, Alzheimer’s disease, and many other complex conditions.
NYU Langone Medical Center is a general hospital with 726 beds and advanced diagnostic and treatment units. One of its most significant recent additions is the Clinical Cancer Center, which opened in July 2004.
