Hirslanden Klinik Im Park, located near Lake Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland, is a 129-bed, high-level private hospital. The clinic is one of Switzerland’s leading hospitals, performing over 7,600 procedures annually across its eight operating theatres. The fully equipped hybrid operating theatre, opened in November 2014, features highly precise imaging devices that enable exact, minimally invasive surgeries while maximizing patient safety.
Hirslanden Klinik Im Park offers a wide range of medical services, with the hospital’s 280 doctors working in an interdisciplinary setting to optimize patient care. State-of-the-art medical treatment is available in specialized institutes within the hospital. The hospital provides many fields of medicine, including centers for cardiology and vascular medicine, gastroenterology, pulmonology, urology, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, as well as various specialties in orthopedics and rheumatology.
The mother and child unit, completely refurbished in 2012, includes two birthing rooms, a birthing chair, a pool for water births, and a theatre for cesarean sections integrated directly into the unit. Over 600 births take place at the clinic each year. A new emergency unit was opened in 2016, featuring a room for minor procedures and an endoscopy suite.
